Nestled in the sought-after area of Old Wood, Skellingthorpe, this bespoke renovation and extension project combines expert craftsmanship and contemporary design.

Upon recommendation from the project architect, we were commissioned to first  demolish the existing conservatory and then construct a new, airy space filled with natural light, designed for both quiet family life and large-scale entertaining.

The Design Brief:

The client’s vision was to create an expansive open-plan living space that seamlessly integrates a high-specification kitchen with a versatile family area. They required a space that felt connected to the outdoors while maintaining a sense of warmth and character within.

Key Features:

The exterior is finished in a crisp white render, providing a striking backdrop for the modern black aluminium windows and bi-fold doors. Internally, the high ceilings feature exposed oak beams, anchoring the modern space with natural warmth and a nod to traditional timber-framing. The strategic use of expansive bi-fold doors allows the internal living space to spill out onto the grounds, offering uninterrupted views of the beautiful garden and private pond.
