QJS, a leader in their field, required a complete internal fit-out of an empty industrial unit at their Saxilby base.
The objective was to transform a blank canvas into a high-end boardroom and a state-of-the-art training centre to showcase the quality of their own brand to visiting clients.
The Challenge - From Shell to Showpiece:
Starting with an empty shell, Firth Construct was responsible for the full design-to-completion process. The project required a high level of technical integration to ensure the space was as functional as it was visually impressive. This included a full internal build with construction of all internal partitioning, suspended ceilings, and architectural features. We also created a distinct separation between the contemporary executive boardroom and the practical, high-traffic training zones.
This project also included a high level of technical Integration, seamlessly hiding the complex AV, data, and climate control systems required for a modern training facility to ensure a clean, "minimalist" aesthetic.
High End Finishes & Details:
Because the space was intended to represent the QJS brand, the level of finish had to be impeccable. Key elements included:
Executive Boardroom:
A flagship space featuring premium acoustic treatments, bespoke lighting, and high-specification floor coverings.
Training Centre:
Designed for durability without sacrificing style, utilising modern materials that could withstand heavy use while maintaining a professional look.
Custom Joinery:
Purpose-built storage and display units designed to house QJS equipment and demonstration materials.
Glazed Partitions:
Installation of high-grade acoustic glass partitioning to maintain an open, airy feel while providing privacy for meetings and training sessions.
The Result:
The project was delivered on time and to a "gallery" standard. QJS now possesses a facility that matches the quality of their own services: a professional, high-end environment that impresses global clients and provides a world-class workspace for their team.
